I think because this month is my littlest’s second birthday, it has put me in a reflective mood thinking about those last few weeks leading up to his birth. Around this time two years ago, some close friends threw me a baby shower which was such a special time. I love baby showers and the time to be with good friends and get excited about the new arrival. It always makes it all suddenly feel very real, in a good way!

Finished Projects - From Amsterdam to Brighton, the story of my Pollen hat

In the summer of 2018 I got to travel to Amsterdam to celebrate my thirtieth birthday. before we left, I did the usual big of research, gathering up a list of the best t places to drink coffee and museum and galleries to visit. In recent years I’ve been adding on to my lists of ‘must see’ places for new places local yarn shops. I love buying some yarn from a new place and I love that my knitting then carries that memory of a place explored.
